About the event

After initial programs covering raptor identification with the center's raptor "ambassadors", we will hike about one mile to the North Lookout (uneven trail, moderate difficulty, 300' rise) to spend an hour there with raptor counters + Conservation Science trainees to help spot & identify raptors.  Bring binoculars if you have them, sturdy closed-toe hiking shoes, rain gear, hiking stick(s), water, sunscreen, and a sack lunch to eat at the lookout. Note: shorter hike (0.25 miles each way) to the South Lookout for those who prefer (even trail, wheelchair accessible). Car pools possible if the interest.  Fees: $11 for adults, $8 for seniors (65+).  Last day to register: Fri. 10/17/25; rain date 10/25/25.
